About Horse Creek Australian Shepherds
Thank you for visiting us here at Horse Creek Australian Shepherds. My name is Alix and along with my husband Curtis, we are the proud owners and breeders here at Horse Creek. HC was relocated in July of 2018 to Wichita Falls, Texas after my mother retired from breeding aussies for 20+ years. Curtis and I both have a very strong love for the breed and are excited to continue providing puppies to families everywhere. Our dogs are like family and we strive to find families willing to give the same unconditional love to each puppy that leaves Horse Creek.
Temperament, conformation, and health are our top priority here at Horse Creek. By visiting our past pups page, you will see that we have dogs that go hiking in Nevada, surf along the coast, perform agility, but all of our dogs have what we call the “off switch”. This is the aussie’s ability to sleep in with you on weekends and binge watch Netflix on a rainy day.
On our 40 acres in Texas, our dogs have the ability to explore gopher holes, get chased by ornery barn cats, ride around on the gator and enjoy lounging on our front porch. Our aussies have the pedigree of both show lines and a little working lines. We feel this combination creates the conformation and intelligence we strive to produce.
